Safely Deleting/Cannot Delete Temp Files
Quick question, would you be running some type of file deletion protection software, as in example of Norton Undelete Protection, or could there be a huge amount of deleted files/folders in the Recycle Bin. If either is the case, have you tried emptying the recycle bin or purging the protected deleted files?

That issue is well documented and is a semi-frequent question on both IE5 /6 & WinME groups. A review of past posts may find other (probably similar) replies or suggestions.
